On war, again, with Iran and the pundits who loved Graham Platner
Critical Support examines Trump's never-ending war and why so many people overlooked so many red flags.
In two new episodes, The Redoubt's Charles R. Davis and Critical Support co-host Shirin Sadeghi looked (and grimaced) at this week's headlines, including the Democratic disaster in Maine and America's never-ending war with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Why did so many pundits ā typically white, often male ā fall for Graham Platner? Progressives and moderates alike overlooked his many demonstrated faults, from lying about a Nazi tattoo to his enjoyment of war crimes in Iraq.
Also this week: U.S. President Donald Trump remember that the Iranian people exist. After praising Iran's brutal leaders as smart and rational, Trump pivoted to attacking them as vicious, violent and sick people. He also mentioned that his former diplomatic partners had gunned down thousands of their citizens.
Will the press remember this when Trump inevitably makes his next awful deal with Tehran?
